Fake materials destroyed

More than 47 million illegal publications, including pirated books, DVDs and pornography, were destroyed in a nationwide crackdown on Sunday, six days ahead of World Intellectual Property Day.

Events were held in all 31 of the mainland's provincial regions, with the largest number of items destroyed in any one place being 12 million in Guangdong.
