Police officer Cao Guangjian walks into a room unarmed, to talk to the inmate, surnamed Wang. The 25-year-old was put in Beijing City Prison (BCP) in 1999 to serve a 15-year sentence for kidnapping. He is a difficult inmate, getting into fights frequently and attracting punishment seven times in the past few years.
