Loyalty stronger than hospital rules

A dachshund's bark disturbed the quiet of the CT examination room at Chongqing municipality's Emergency Center on Wednesday aftertoon.

The medical staff on hand could not help but remark on the dog's loyalty.

"We received a report saying that an old man had fallen unconscious on the street at about 1:30 pm, and when we approached him for an examination, the dog tried to protect his master," a doctor surnamed Lai said.
