Repentant man gets light sentence after shooting
Li Chuanlin, a farmer in Fengjie county, Chongqing municipality, was recently sentenced to five years in prison for manslaughter.
On March 6, 2007, Li went hunting with a villager surnamed Deng. That afternoon Li saw what he thought was a wild boar in the distance and took a shot. However, the boar turned out to be Deng.
