Mine death toll now 16
The death toll from a coal mine explosion in Liaoning province at the weekend rose to 16 yesterday after two more missing miners were found dead.
Their bodies were retrieved from the No 3 Coal Mine of Shaguotun village, Huludao, a local official said.
