Climate

Guangzhou has a South Asian tropical monsoonal climate. Average temperature in April is between 20and 30C. It's a month characterized by abundant rainfall and exhibitors are advised to take umbrellas.

Currency

China's currency is the renminbi, also known as the yuan. Foreign currency can be exchanged for renminbi in hotels and bank outlets. There are two banks at the Canton Fair:

Bank of China: Counter 5-6, Pearl River Promenade, Exhibition Hall 23

China Construction Bank: Counter 1, Pearl River Promenade, Exhibition Hall 22

Time zone

Guangzhou time is 8 hours earlier than Greenwich Mean Time (+8 hours GMT).

Power supply

Standard voltage in China is 220V/50Hz.

IPR complaints

A booth has been set up for IPR complaints and trade disputes at the fair.

The booth will be open from April 15 to 20, from 9am to 6pm. It's located in the atrium on the first floor between halls 26 and 28.

Lost property

A lost property department is also available at the fair.

Exhibitors can register and claim their lost property including personal items like laptops and mobile phones and exhibition samples. The lost property department is located in office 05, 1st floor, Hall 23, Pazhou Complex. It will be open from April 15 to 20 from 9am to 6pm.
