MDC to challenge recount

Zimbabwe's opposition MDC said yesterday it will challenge a partial poll recount and the government promised the army would not fight Zimbabweans over the election which has raised fears of bloodshed.

A two-week delay in releasing the results from Zimbabwe's March 29 presidential election has raised political tensions in the southern African nation.
