World Bank extends support

Cambodia has the opportunity to build on its recent strong economic performance, and broaden and deepen the foundation for sustainable economic growth.

The World Bank wants to assist the Cambodian government in enacting reforms to strengthen governance and the rule of law, reduce rural poverty, encourage social development and improve the business and investment climate.

These essential steps will help the government earn the respect of entrepreneurs and investors and, more importantly, the appreciation of Cambodians, who have suffered much and seek the full benefits of peace, growth and opportunity.
