Students return ticket to grateful tourist
Two university students went to great lengths on Saturday to track down a tourist from Beijing and return his lost train ticket in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province.
Li Shaoming arrived in Xi'an on Friday and planned to return home on Saturday night. But when he arrived at the station an hour before the train was due to leave, he discovered his ticket was missing.
Meanwhile, students Tie Bingjie and Han Chao found his ticket downtown and noticed it was needed - and soon. They took a taxi to the railway station hoping to get it to its owner in time.
With the help of the station's PA system, the students found a grateful Li and handed him his ticket with 20 minutes to spare.

Unnamed hero rescues teen after moat jump
A 17-year-old girl was rescued by an anonymous street cleaner after she tried to commit suicide by jumping into Xi'an's city moat in Shaanxi Province on Saturday.
The girl's rescuer, in his 50s, jumped into the water after her.
"The girl would have drowned if he didn't pull her from the water when he did. He resuscitated her and she was taken away in an ambulance. The man left without saying a word. I've seen him cleaning the streets every day, but I don't know his name," a witness surnamed Peng said.
The girl told doctors at the hospital that she's from Xianyang, another city in the province, but wouldn't say more.
