Island business currents strong in Hainan

Developing an open, hi-tech and eco-friendly economy will be the road ahead for Hainan province to reinvigorate the island, said Governor Luo Baoming.

"We'll open all aspects that can be open and explore all markets that are available," he added.

Modern agriculture, new industries, tourism and ocean resources will be pillar industries of the province, according to the blueprint for development.
