Olympic body vows support for China

All 205 Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) members will attend the Beijing Olympics, ANOC president Mario Vazquez Rana said yesterday in Beijing.

He was speaking at the close of the 16th ANOC General Assembly, a three-day meeting of more than 700 representatives at which the Beijing Games was one of the main agenda items.

"None of our members gave any indication of not supporting the Games," Vazquez Rana said, adding that preparation work has been satisfactory.
