New calls for Mosley to resign

LONDON: Triple world Formula One champion Jackie Stewart has called for FIA president Max Mosley to quit after the scandal that has focused attention on his private life.

"It is time Max Mosley did the honorable thing and resigned," 69-year-old Stewart told Sunday's News of the World.

"There is not an organisation in the world, be it a public corporation or the FA (Football Association) or the PGA, that would allow this to dribble on."
