Oilfield ready

Offshore Oil Engineering Co Ltd, the subsidiary under China National Offshore Oil Corp, said it has finished construction of Asia's largest offshore oilfield jacket, which is over 212-m long and weighs 16,213 tons.

In 2007, the company recorded main business revenue of 6.03 billion yuan, which rose 21.36 percent year-on-year. It posted profit of 1.24 billion yuan last year, up 16.52 percent.
