Women's growing financial independence and younger appearances have aroused their interest in younger dates in the Republic of Korea (ROK).
According to a survey by the National Statistics Office, one in every 10 married couples aged in their 20s and 30s is estimated to have either an older bride or younger bridegroom.
"I am feeling more heard with my younger boyfriend. He is so caring to me that he even remembers my mother's birthday," said Kim Kyung-Hye, 29, who is seeing a 26-year-old man.
