No bird flu reports

A quarantine period in Guangzhou has been lifted after 21 days in which no new cases of bird flu were reported, the Ministry of Agriculture said yesterday.

At least 632 fowl were culled after an outbreak of the deadly H5N1 virus on March 13 in the Liwan district of the city, capital of Guangdong province.
