Mid-air mobile service

Air France said yesterday it has launched a trial of full in-flight mobile phone services on selected European routes, allowing travelers to chat mid-air.

The service follows positive feedback from three months of trials of in-flight mobile services allowing passengers to send and receive text messages and e-mails, Air France marketing director Patrick Roux said in a statement.
