Throngs to wed on Aug 8
Beijing will do its best to meet the huge demand for marriage registrations on August 8, the opening day of the Olympic Games, vice-mayor Ding Xiangyang said yesterday.
Speaking at a civil affairs working meeting, he said people who want to register marriages on the date can do so if they meet Beijing's registration requirements.
