The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) yesterday announced the latest reshuffling of the provincial leadership after the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) elected a new State leadership lineup last month.
Jiang Yikang, vice-president and Party chief of the National School of Administration (NSA), was appointed secretary of the CPC Shandong provincial committee in accordance with a CPC Central Committee decision.
Jiang, 55, replaced Li Jianguo, who was elected secretary-general and vice-chairman of the 11th NPC Standing Committee at the NPC annual session in March.
