Three years after the last meeting of leaders of Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) countries, China has seen triple-digit growth in trade volumes, numerous infrastructure projects and booming tourism with GMS neighbors, a report published on Thursday said.
The Country Report on China's Participation in GMS Cooperation, jointly published by several ministries, was released ahead of the opening of the third GMS summit in Vientiane, Laos.
Premier Wen Jiabao is due to attend the meeting this weekend.
