Gifted student takes mother's illness in stride
Bao Tianyang, an 18-year-old high school student in Shehong, Sichuan province, has been looking after his sick mother for the past eight years.
A serious illness left Bao's mother paralyzed in 2000, and his father works away from home, leaving the then 10-year-old Bao to take responsibility for looking after his mother.
