4 die in power station blast

Four workers died and five were injured yesterday by an explosion at a hydroelectric power plant being built in central Turkey, the state-run Anatolian news agency reported.

The cause of the blast in the Anatolian province of Kahramanmaras was not immediately known, provincial governor Mehmet Niyazi Tanilir said in a statement, adding that the power plant was owned by a private company, which he did not name.
