Single women stockpile images of themselves
Zhang, a single young woman in Shanghai, has had more than 1,000 pictures of herself taken at local photo studios in recent years.
She said her mother often looks at her pictures and regrets not having enough money to have her own pictures taken when she was young.
Li Li, another single young woman who works for a travel agency, said many young single women in Shanghai enjoy being photographed. They hope the pictures will remind them of their youth and beauty when they are old, Li said.

Customer counts on army of bank tellers
It took 100 bank employees four days to count one deposit brought into the Laiyang Rural Credit Cooperative last week.
The customer said he had been turned away from 12 other banks because he wanted to deposit 1 million yuan ($140,845) - in 1 yuan bills and coins.
The bank sent a truck to collect the 25 sackfuls of cash, which weighed more than three tons.
