Drug-induced ruckus ends in cash bonanza

Police detained a 30-year-old man last Friday after he turned up at a Fuzhou logistics company shouting and brandishing a brick and a knife.

When police arrived, the man allegedly used the brick to hit their car. They drove off to lure the man from the premises.

He gave chase and then stopped in the street to throw handfuls of cash skyward.

Police recovered 5,300 yuan ($746) from the scene. The man is believed to have been under the influence of drugs.
