This plateau city is reviving after the nightmarish riots that ended four days ago.
The main streets in downtown Lhasa, which were scattered with debris and rocks, are bustling again with buses, taxis and bicycle rickshaws.
Queues can be seen at the counters of many supermarkets. "There are many more shoppers than in previous days," Yang Yuan, manager of Baiyi supermarket in west suburban Lhasa, said.
