Pry bar deployed to ensure successful birth

Lu, a resident of Lanzhou, capital of Gansu province, got a helping hand from her neighbors when they broke down a door to make sure she could deliver her baby in hospital.

Lu was going to give birth on Tuesday morning but was stopped by a locked door. Her husband tried to break down the door, but failed and called police. However, before the police came, a neighbor who heard the couple's cries sprang into action and pried open the door, allowing Lu to make it to the hospital.
