Greater success lies ahead
Chinese people are enjoying a much better life than before as far as I can see. It is really exciting to see the government attach such importance to the people, especially to the less well off.
I have faith that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the country will achieve even greater success.

No right to criticize
What right does the US have to criticize the human rights of any other nation when its own human rights record is so horrible?
In the case of China, survival with dignity is the most important aspect of its human rights, and no country has done better than China in lifting people out of poverty in the last three decades.

Preparation for Games impressive
I am truly impressed by the efforts the Chinese government has made to stage the Olympics, but there have been a lot of biased and prejudiced accusations about Beijing's preparation for the Games. They are simply untrue.
China has done more than any other previous hosts, I think. I am sure the Beijing Olympic Games will be a big success and it will also be a great opportunity to show the world what China really is.

All ethnic groups should unite
Comment on "Dalai coterie's secessionist attempts doomed to fail" (China Daily website, March 17)
As a Tibetan and Chinese citizen studying overseas, I am truly ashamed of some malicious Tibetan separatists for destroying property, hurting or killing other Tibetans who support the central government.
It shows that some people in the world still want to cause China trouble ahead of the 2008 Olympic Games. We Chinese citizens of all 56 ethnic groups know this.
However, we support our nation and we should unite. China is our country. Although there is a small number of the people who want to cause trouble and who get secret support from foreign groups, China will continue to develop.
