Incomplete sex change leaves man in gender limbo

Xiao Qing, a university graduate in Fuzhou, Fujian province, does not know whether he should be called a man or a woman. Xiao, who wants to live as a woman, had a free sex-change operation two years ago. However, just as he was about to have his second and final operation, the hospital went bankrupt. The person in charge who had arranged for the first free procedure disappeared.

Xiao has since noticed some defects with his chest and reproductive organs, but he cannot afford to have the necessary operations.
