The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences (AAHS) has given an International Star Diamond Award to My Humble House at the Oriental Plaza in Beijing. Joseph D. Cinque, president and CEO of the AAHS, presented the awards at My Humble House's China Central Place branch. Evaluations of establishments are based on hospitality, gastronomy, attitude, quality, cleanliness and above all service.

In China, AAHS awards have been bagged by Beijing Hotel, China World Hotel, China Southern Airlines, and a number of other five-star hotels in big cities. Restaurants with Tung Lok are recognized for their creative dining concepts and cuisine. My Humble House first opened in 2002 in Singapore, and its Oriental Plaza store in Beijing opened in December 2004. The restaurant is ranked high in Beijing's restaurant listings, and is regarded as a good choice for a formal business meal.
