More women to become pilots

The People's Liberation Army Air Force will begin selecting female pilot cadets from different parts of the country this year, Yue Xicui, a CPPCC member and major-general of the air force, said.

Starting this year, women pilots will be recruited every three years, instead of every seven or eight years as practiced over the past five decades, which means more women will have a chance of becoming pilots.
