Grant faces fight for his future after FA Cup exit

BARNSLEY, England: Avram Grant faces more showdown talks with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich this week to discuss his side's fading season following its humiliating FA Cup exit at Barnsley.

Kayode Odejayi's second-half goal was enough to dump Chelsea out of the FA Cup at the quarterfinal stage when Grant's men looked odds-on favorite to win the competition following Manchester United's earlier loss at home to Portsmouth.

But despite fielding a side of internationals from back to front, the Premier League giant was second best against a side struggling to avoid relegation from the Championship this season.
