PLA deputies defend budget
People's Liberation Army (PLA) deputies were swarmed by journalists yesterday as they arrived at the Great Hall of the People to attend the annual NPC sessions.
When asked about US media reports about China's military power, General Wang Jianmin said that China's increase of its defense budget was not an offensive move.
