Mao Xinyu as CPPCC member

Dressed in a military uniform, Mao Xinyu, the grandson of Chairman Mao Zedong, was swarmed by reporters as he arrived at the steps of the Great Hall of the People yesterday.

It was the first time he was attending the two sessions as a CPPCC member. He said that being the descendant of one of the founders of China made him cherish the opportunity to present his ideas and thoughts during the CPPCC sessions.
