Diners must pay for scaring weak-hearted man

A restaurant in Guangzhou's Liwan district was ordered to pay for half of the medical fees incurred by a diner surnamed Xiao who fell ill after two other patrons had a violent quarrel with their waitress in 2006.

Xiao, 70, who has heart disease, fell ill because he was so scared by the fierce quarrel. The other diners ran off after Xiao became sick.
