Destroyer grazes freighter

A Japanese destroyer grazed a Cambodian-registered freighter at a Vietnamese port yesterday, but no one was injured in the incident, Japan's navy said.

The destroyer Hamayuki was trying to dock at the Ho Chi Minh port in southern Vietnam under the guidance of a pilot boat when the collision took place, Maritime Self-Defense Forces spokeswoman Mika Soma said.
