Violinist Ingolf Thurban has recorded all six violin concertos of Nicolo Paganini, an Italian violinist and a composer who is considered by many as the greatest of all time. This time, Thurban will imitate Paganini by tuning his 1808 Nicholas Lupot violin a semitone higher. Thurban believes this will make his solos more conspicuous and the strings in the orchestra sound smoother and warmer.
