Drug boss stands trial
The trial of alleged drug baron Li Xianhuan began at an intermediate people's court in Guangzhou, Guangdong province yesterday.
The Ministry of Public Security labeled the case as the No 1 anti-drug trafficking case of last year. Li is charged with setting up five workshops in 2006 to produce and process the drug ice, as well as money laundering and gun trafficking activities.
