The Labeque sisters, acclaimed French pianists Katia and Marielle, are known for their superlative musicianship and the extraordinary scope of their repertoire, ranging from Bach to Stravinsky. They are the world's No. 1 duo pianists and will lead Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra for the concert, Two Become One.

A concert with the theme of love will be presented at Xinghai Concert Hall on Valentine's Day. To Say I Love You will feature Wen Wei, a Chinese-American violinist, who will play excerpts from the famous opera "Carmen".

As part of the China National Orchestra Guangdong 2007-2008 Music Season, a Chinese Lantern Festival concert will be presented. China National Orchestra Guangdong and a bunch of famous Chinese musicians will perform at the concert.

EXHIBITIONS
Lai Shaoqi (1915-2000) was a famous Chinese painter, calligrapher, writer, poet and the founder of a new print movement. Lai Shaoqi Retrospect Print Exhibition is being held by Guangzhou Museum of Art. The exhibition shows the works of Lai from different periods: the modern print period (1934-1936), Guilin period (1937-1939) and the country build period (1950-1970). Viewers can see the different characteristic of Lai's work during these periods. Sixty-five peices are on show.

Liu Haisu (1896-1994) was a famous artist and teacher. He spent his early years at a private school and learned about the arts there, before painting Western-styled works. He traveled to France, Italy, and Switzerland for his studies. He has received many honors both in China and in Europe. 9am to 5pm, daily except Monday till March 9
