Farmer compensated for wounds inflicted by bear
Qi Chunfeng, a farmer who lost the ability to work after a black bear bit his face November 2006, received 93,000 yuan (about $12,900) in compensation on Monday from authorities in Huadian, Jilin province.
Qi used the money to get plastic surgery and to set up a small business to support his family.
