Wen, Brown talk ahead of UK PM's visit

Premier Wen Jiabao and his British counterpart Gordon Brown exchanged views on Sino-British relations, as well as international and regional issues of common concern, in a telephone conversation yesterday.

The call was held two days before British Prime Minister Brown's official visit to China from tomorrow to Sunday.

This will be Brown's first visit to China since he assumed office in June 2007.
