Monk turns temple into home for forlorn pooches
A 71-year-old Buddhist monk named Miao Xing has spent more than 30,000 yuan ($4,076) building a home for 32 stray dogs in his temple in Xinxiang county, Henan Province.
Miao Xing began taking in dogs dumped by local residents at the beginning of the year.
