Li Jinzhu, a former businesswoman in Nanjing, has turned filmmaker. One day in 2002, she saw a TV program about an AIDS patient's tragic story. Out of sympathy towards the disadvantaged group, she decided to invest 6 million yuan to produce a comic and animated film on HIV/AIDS education. Her film was broadcast to about 3 million migrant workers in Shenzhen this year. She said she believes profits will come naturally after the film "realizes its social mission".
