UK transfer

Andrew Humberstone, chief representative of Fiat Group Automobiles China and vice-chairman of Nanjing Fiat, has left his position in China, Guangzhou Daily reported.

He was appointed managing director of Fiat Group Automobiles UK Ltd starting November 1.

Humberstone, 43, has worked in various roles in India, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and South Africa.

VP jumps portals

Shen Jianming, vice-president of Sina.com and in charge of the portal's brand promotion and marketing, will join Alibaba.com as a vice-president, Beijing Daily Messenger reported, citing unidentified sources.

Shen joined Sina.com in 1999, and helped the website establish strategic partnerships with many big companies. She was appointed Sina.com's vice-president in 2004.
