China's largest online game operator Shanda Interactive Entertainment Ltd said on Tuesday it has hired Donald Chan (above) as senior vice-president to oversee the company's new in-game advertising business.

Chan has over 15 years of marketing, advertising and brand management experience in China, and previously worked at global marketing specialist Leo Burnett Co.

New director

China Unicom Ltd, the country's No 2 mobile operator, said on Tuesday it has appointed Lee Suk Hwan, an executive from SK Telecom Co, as a non-executive director.

Lee Suk Hwan, who is chief executive officer of SK Telecom's Chinese subsidiary, joined China Unicom yesterday, Unicom said in a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange.
