Giant dress

A factory in Guangzhou recently spun the nation's longest wedding dress, Guangzhou Daily reported.

Ken, a wedding ceremony host in a wedding planning company, will hold his own wedding soon and wants to present his bride with a special gift, so he ordered the giant dress from this factory.

The white dress is 200.8 m long and weighs 100 kg. It took several tailors three months to make. Ken said he will sell the dress at auction after his wedding.

Marriage counseling

The first "divorce company" in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province, seems to be doing the opposite of what it had set out to do. In the six months that it has been around, Weiqing Marriage Counseling Company has helped more than 100 couples who intended to get divorced repair their relationship.

Chen Sihan, the company's chief, said though it is in the business of divorce, its business priority is to help clients solve their problems first, and provide divorce consultation only as the last resort.

Shoe campaign

A shoe mall in Hangzhou held a special sales promotion campaign over the weekend. The typhoon and the resulting flood had inundated the mall. So it rented a square in the city to help the shop owners dry their shoes in the sun while selling them at a discount.
