Digital mooncakes

Biz Scene: Biz Unusual

Wu Lisi, an office lady in Shanghai, recently received a very special mid-autumn day gift when she opened an email titled "a digital mooncake". To eat the mooncake, she simply clicks the mouse to cut off pieces of the cake.

Some websites this year introduced "digital mooncakes" to their digital greeting cards business. The cost of a "virtual mooncake greeting card" is from 0.2 yuan to 1 yuan.

People can make the digital mooncakes by themselves, choose their favorite ingredients and shape and hide their greetings inside the cake.

Creative boxes

A food company in Hong Kong has introduced various creative mooncake packages that have other useful functions. The packages can be used as a jewelry ornament casket, musical box or lantern. The mooncakes with creative packages were sold from 200 to 400 yuan a box. The shop said such mooncake packages can avoid wasting resources and is more environmentally friendly.
