Research chief
ABN Amro has appointed Wendy Liu as head of China research. Liu will lead a team of analysts at the bank's China Equity Research franchise.
She joins ABN Amro from Merrill Lynch, where she was co-head of Asia-Pacific telecommunications. Liu has spent seven years at Merrill Lynch in New York and Hong Kong.
New HR director
Talent2 Consult has appointed Amanda Oldridge as the company's HR director for China. With more than 20 years of experience in organizational development and design, Oldridge has joined Talent2 Consult as director, with responsibility for HR consulting and learning in China. Before joining Talent2, she was director of DBM Hong Kong, and has also run her own consultancy.
