WO-Game makes its way to China
Corporate America's Wild Onion Urban Adventure Race will debut in China next year.
Aimed at testing corporate team's teamwork and athleticism, "Wo-Game", as it is known, will be staged in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, next April under the slogan "From zero to hero".
WO-Game was founded in Chicago seven years ago by veteran adventure racers Will Burkhart, John O'Connor and John Hamill.
This unisex event usually runs for 24 hours and focuses on a range of athletic disciplines such as canoeing, kayaking, in-line skating, cycling, running, scootering, stair climbing, rappelling and city navigation.
"In the US, we will get 75 international professional teams and about 150 amateur teams each race," said Hamill while introducing the race in Beijing along with his Chinese business partners.
