On May 24, following a warm-up exercise, the key presentation followed with nine teams presenting their own topics within a 20-minute timeframe. After each presentation, the management panel raised questions and further elaborated on the topic.
Among the nine teams, three received the "Red Carpet Award" from the management panel, with one chosen by the participants to receive the "Most Popular Award".
Team No 4 had to turn the spotlight on the topic "Ensure Sustainable Development." The team presented the topic in an innovative way through role-play in "Journey to the West", in which the team introduced BASF's environmentally friendly products, solutions and ideologies in a humorous way.
"The presentation was the most innovative and eye-catching among those on the same topic I have ever seen," said Ms Heng Yun, chief representative of BASF's Nanjing office. Finally, Team No 4 won a "Red Carpet Award" and also received the "Most Popular Award."
After the presentations, participants had more than an hour's dialogue with the management panel, putting forward questions regarding their concerns. "New staff should take an initiative to use various resources to know more about the company," said Ms Priscilla Leung, Director of Human Resources of BASF in China.
