Potter star keeps mum about birthday

Media reports of Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe gaining access to huge amounts of cash when he turned 18 on Monday were overblown, his publicist's office said. "It's not a big deal today," said a woman who answered the phone at the office of Radcliffe's publicist. She refused to give her name, saying she wasn't an official spokeswoman.

She refused to elaborate, saying Radcliffe's finances and birthday party were personal matters.

Radcliffe, who was 11 when he was first cast as the schoolboy wizard in the films based on J.K. Rowling's novels, is gaining access to a $19 million investment fund, People magazine reported in its July 23 issue.

British newspapers have estimated that he has a total net worth of $35 million, with two more movies in the Potter series yet to be filmed, the magazine said.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the latest movie starring Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, is now in theaters.

Laila Ali weds retired NFL star Conway

Laila Ali and retired NFL star Curtis Conway were married over the weekend, her manager, Eric Kaufman, said on Monday.

Guests included Ali's parents, Muhammad Ali and Veronica Porsche Anderson; her sister Hana Ali; Conway's 12-year-old twin sons, Cameron and Kelton; and his 8-year-old daughter, Leilani, People magazine reported on its website.

The 29-year-old quadruple crown super middleweight champion wore a champagne-colored silk charmeuse strapless mermaid gown, the magazine reported.

She was among the competitors on last season's Dancing With the Stars on ABC.

Conway, 36, and Ali met two years ago when he hosted a small party at his home. He proposed last Thanksgiving.

Ali divorced her husband and former promoter Yahya McClain in 2005.

Santana releases duet with Tina Turner

Carlos Santana's song Game of Love with Michelle Branch was a huge hit and even won the pair a Grammy. Still, for years, Santana wished that fans could have heard the original version with Tina Turner as his duet partner. In October, the guitar god will get his wish.

Included on the release of Ultimate Santana, a greatest-hits disc, will be the Game of Love song - one version featuring Branch and one featuring Turner. "Queens come and go; there's only one Tina Turner," Santana says. "I love Michelle, and she did a great interpretation of it. It's just that with all honor and respect to Michelle, there's the girl and there's the woman, and Michelle is unfolding into a woman. ... but it takes time to go from a girl to a woman."

The hit song was originally included on Santana's 2002 disc, Shaman, the follow-up to his multi-Grammy, multiplatinum disc Supernatural. Santana had asked Turner to sing on the song and she obliged and recorded the vocals to the track.
