MANCHESTER, England: Sven-Goran Eriksson returned to touchline duty on Saturday for the first time since England's World Cup exit last summer and admitted he was relishing being back in soccer.
The Swede oversaw his first match in charge of Premiership side Manchester City in the humble surroundings of little Doncaster Rovers' Keepmoat Stadium, a far cry from Gelsenkirchen in Germany where England's World Cup campaign was ended by Portugal.
"I wasn't nervous, I have been looking forward to it. It was good to be back with a football team again, we had good weather, a beautiful stadium and a good pitch. It was perfect - especially with the win," said Eriksson after the 3-0 win.
